What modes does Burner Brake have?


The Burner Brake has five different modes which can be used in a varying amount of situations. The modes will come on in the following order by pushing the front button whilst the light is turned On.


  1. Bright Steady

  2. Day Flash

  3. Medium Steady

  4. Animation 1 - Chase

  5. Animation 2 - Hadron


Where can the Burner Brake fit?


The Burner Brake is designed to fit all standard and a variety of aero seat posts. However, you can mount the light on a seat stay or any round tube as long as the diameter matches that of a standard seat post.

Is the Burner Brake theft resistant?


The ability to remove the Burner Brake quickly makes it the perfect light for anyone leaving their bike unattended where the potential for theft is high. However, this also means that if you forget to take your Burner Brake off your bike a thief could easily remove your Burner Brake. 


Please remember to remove your Burner Brake when leaving your bike unattended.


How bright is the light in lumens (lm)?

The Burner Brake has multiple modes and within those modes will emit varying levels of Lumens. The varying level of Lumens are outlined below;


  • Bright Steady - 200 lumens

  • Day Flash - 200 lumens

  • Medium Steady - 60 lumens

  • Animation 1 - Chase - 60 lumens

  • Animation 2 - Hadron - 60 lumens


Is the Burner Brake visible in the day?


The Burner brake is visible in the day time in the Bright Steady and specifically the Day Flash mode where the light outputs 200 lumens to keep you visible before and after the sun sets.


How long does the battery last?

Although we can confidently say the Burner Brake will provide the following battery run times the figures below do not take into account the level of use of a longer period of time, battery storage, operating temperature and whole host of other variables.



Is it waterproof?


The Burner Brake is rated to a waterproof level of IP55 meaning that it can withstand the elements of all countries. However, it’s not designed to be submerged in water so please take care when cleaning. 


What happens if it breaks?


No need to worry your Burner Brake comes with a 2 (two) year warranty against manufacturing defects. With the exception of your Burner Brake battery which is covered by a 6 (six) month warranty against manufacturing defects. 


Please note any unauthorised repairs, carried out by an unauthorised party will void the warranty. So leave it to the experts and get in touch if you’re having issues with your Burner Brake.
