If you have a black Laserlight shipped after 1 January 2016, the operation will be slightly different. Instead, refer to the new manual linked below.
Please find the English, French, German, Spanish and Japanese user manuals attached at the bottom of this page.
There have been a couple of updates to the latest batch of black Laserlights. If you received a black Laserlight on or after 1 January 2016, then this applies to you.
- The laser projection will work whether the Laserlight is clipped into the bracket or not. It no longer requires contact with the bracket to work. The Laserlight is a very robust bike light, but without this feature it is able to survive much heavier drops and bangs.
- The previous versions of Laserlights had four white light operating modes. A 30lm torch mode, only on when the Laserlight is out of the bracket, and three modes for when the Laserlight is on the bike - 100lm flashing, 100lm steady and 300lm steady. The difference with the new black Laserlights is that, without the bracket switch, all four modes work whether the Laserlight is on or off the bracket. The white light sequence now runs as follows: 100lm flashing, 30lm steady, 100lm steady, 300lm steady.
